6. Big cats. Lion. There are three species of cat native to Africa that can realistically kill a human; the lion, the leopard and the cheetah. Whilst the smaller, lighter cheetah is a less realistic proposition, the other two can and have killed, in the hundreds if not thousands.
The most dangerous animal in Madagascar is the Nile crocodile. Itโs by far the biggest and most terrifying beast on the island. Typically residing in the warm waters of lowland ravines and riverside woodlands, itโs quite common across the western half of the island.
