Less expensive than an iPad Pro. The main differences between the two iPad Pro models are size and price. The iPad Pro comes in two sizes: an 11-inch version and the more expensive 12.9-inch model. Otherwise, both versions of the latest-generation iPad Pro share the same relative specs and improvements over the iPad Air (more storage, faster

The fact that 12.9" is the size of an A4 paper it felt more natural. Go with 11" if you're gonna take notes while holding the iPad with one hand and writing with the other. Go with 12.9" if you're gonna lay it flat on a desk for writing.

Outrageous premium for basically a hover feature. It would’ve been worth it if the m2 included 16gb of ram with 512 ssd and 24gb for 1tb and higher models. As of right now this generation is a niche upgrade (an upgrade nonetheless) with hover, m2 chip with better gpu and better neural engine, and pro-res.

I’m currently using a 12.9 as my primary “PC”, it’s used both for work and personal use. I’ve actually used the iPad as my main computer for the past five years or so. Gone from 9.7 (pro)to 11 (2018 pro) to 12.9 (2021 pro). I also have a 2017 i7 12” macbook and a Lenovo laptop, but I rarely use them.
Received the 12.9” today and it’s so much better for multitasking with the larger screen - you can see so much more on both apps that you’re using. 11” is great for single app use or mobile use, but for desktop multitasking, 12.9” is absolutely the way to go. 11” will be returned. Still have my 2017 10.5” Pro if I need portable. . 184 190 84 205 158 87 216 242 333
