I'm playing ets 2 in a toaster with 50% scaling here, and there is no way i can read it withouth zooming 😁 But zooming on it very helps a lot, and in case someone don't know yet, it's called Zoom Interior Camera in a key settings (unbind in default) i bind it with LMB for easy access. i can even see how much i got by looking at fuel indicator instead seeing at the onscreen navigator

There is an option to select for it in the game-play menu. Just need to select it I believe. I think that auto high beams may be similar but you need low beams on for the auto high beams to function.
